Junior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, maintain accurate financial records, and help ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to grow and learn in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Record and process daily financial transactions, including journal entries
- Maintain and update accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Provide support with payroll processing and tax filings as assigned
- Preparation of financial reports and monthly close processes
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years’ experience in accounting or finance (internship/entry-level experience is a plus)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g.,Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to have
- Part-qualified certification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc.) is a plus.
- Prior internships or coursework in accounting software and financial reporting.
- Driving License
- Strong analytical skills
